🤎 Today is World Diabetes Day - a moment to recognise that the small things we do each day really do add up.

In Australia, around one in twenty people live with diabetes, and type 2 diabetes is becoming more common, often without early signs or diagnosis.

If you’re already living with diabetes, you don’t have to manage it alone. Our nurses at Toma Health can help with diabetes management, medication administration, and regular health monitoring, making day-to-day care a little easier.

Whether it’s having regular check-ups, or reaching out for the right support, every small step makes a difference. Looking after your health doesn’t have to be overwhelming. It just starts with one choice at a time.

Every November, the mo’s make their comeback, but Movember is about so much more than moustaches. It’s about men’s health in every way that matters. 🤎

For Toma Health, Movember is a gentle reminder to keep an eye out for the men in our lives - our dads, brothers, partners, mates, and colleagues - not just when something’s wrong, but in all the moments in between.

Men’s health goes far beyond the physical. It’s mental, emotional, and social too. A quick check-in, a GP visit, or an honest chat can make a world of difference.

This Movember, we stand alongside all the men we care for and care about. Let’s keep the conversations open, the support strong, and the stigma small. 🤎

Vital Signs Monitoring and Clinical Reporting

Numbers tell part of the story, but real care fills in the rest 🤎

The nurses at Toma Health do more than check blood pressure, pulse, or temperature. They take the time to understand what each result means for the person behind it, taking the time to notice the small changes that can make a big difference.

With a founding nurse who’s walked in the shoes of both clinician and carer, we know how deeply personal it is to trust someone with your health. That’s why our vital signs monitoring and clinical reporting go beyond data. It's about noticing early, acting quickly, and keeping every client and family reassured that their wellbeing is in safe, caring hands.

If you or someone you love needs trusted nursing support, reach out to our team today.

Diabetes Management (BSL monitoring, insulin administration)

Living with diabetes means keeping up with daily checks, numbers, and routines, but it shouldn’t feel like you’re doing it all on your own. 🤎

Our nurses are here to help with BSL monitoring and insulin administration, bringing skill, care, and understanding to every visit.

Toma Health was built by a nurse who’s spent years walking beside patients, and she designed it so people could get the kind of care they deserve.

With our nursing team, managing diabetes feels a little less daunting and life feels a little more in balance.

🦴 World Osteoporosis Day 🤎

Bone health often goes unnoticed until something changes, like a fall, a fracture, or even just daily tasks feeling harder than before. But caring for our bones early makes a real difference later.

The Toma Health physios, nurses, and community care team work together to support bone strength and independence at every stage of life. From gentle exercises, to home safety checks and mobility assistance, we help people stay steady, active, and confident in their homes and communities.

Today’s a good reminder to keep moving, and talk to your care team about prevention, because strong bones mean more freedom, more confidence, and more of the life you love 🤎

Medication Administration (oral, injectable, topical)

Medication can be a lot to manage, especially when there’s more than one to keep track of.

That’s where our nurses come in.

With experience, empathy, and careful attention, they make sure every dose is given safely and calmly - whether it’s oral, injectable, or topical.

Founded by a registered nurse, Toma Health was built on the belief that care should feel safe, personal, and dignified. Because every medication matters, and so does every person 🤎

If you or someone you care for needs help administering medication, our nursing team is here to support you, with steady hands and genuine care. Reach out to us!

🌍 On World Hospice & Palliative Care Day 2025, we’re reminded how important it is that no one faces life’s hardest moments alone.

Many of us at Toma Health have walked this journey with our own loved ones. We’ve seen the difference care makes when it brings dignity, comfort, and understanding 🤎.

Today we stand with families everywhere and add our voice to the call for universal access, because everyone deserves this kind of care and connection.

🌍💚 World Mental Health Day reminds us to care for our minds as we do our bodies. This year’s theme, connect with your community, is about leaning on each other so no one carries the load alone.

Every day, our carers, physios and nurses see how much difference it makes when someone feels heard, supported, and not alone. Sometimes it’s the little moments that bring the biggest relief. Good health is more than physical – it’s feeling safe, supported and understood. 🤎

Wound Care (acute wounds, pressure injuries, surgical wounds)

Healing isn’t quick, and it’s rarely simple. It takes patience, skill, and care that sees the person - not just the wound.

Toma Health was founded by a registered nurse, so we understand how much the little things matter - the small details that make a big difference in someone’s recovery, like the way a dressing is applied, the care taken to prevent infection, and the quiet reassurance that someone’s looking out for you. That’s what Toma Health was built on - nursing that goes beyond ticking boxes.

Whether it’s a surgical wound, a pressure injury, or something more acute, we focus on healing safely and helping people feel comfortable and confident again as they recover. 🤎

🌏🤎 Today is World Cerebral Palsy Day. It’s a good reminder that inclusion should never be an afterthought.

Cerebral palsy is the most common childhood physical disability, yet every journey is different. With the right understanding and support, people with CP can thrive in their own way.

We stand with the CP community by listening, supporting families, and raising awareness so inclusion becomes part of everyday life.

Here’s to celebrating the resilience and creativity of people living with cerebral palsy 🤎✅
