What a year it’s been at Toma Health.

We’ve stepped into a fresh new chapter with our rebrand, launched our new website, and a simpler access to care with the implementation of our online physio bookings.

Our team has grown with genuinely good people who care deeply about doing healthcare properly, and while a lot has evolved, the heart of Toma Health hasn’t changed. Warm, trusted, down-to-earth care for our community, always.

What a way to wrap up the year 🤎

We swapped clinics, home care and laptops for a sunset dinner cruise across Sydney Harbour. Good food, unreal views, and the kind of chats you only get when everyone finally slows down. Then it was into the city for some very competitive team bonding games. Lots of laughs, a bit of thinking, plenty of cheering.

It was relaxed, energising, and a really nice reminder that behind the work are people who genuinely care. Huge thanks to this team for the effort, heart, and consistency you bring every day. Toma Health doesn’t work without you, and we’re very grateful 🤎

This part looks a bit dramatic, but the removal tool is designed to vibrate, not cut, so it’s safe for your skin.

We gently open the cast, lift it away, and check mobility, skin condition, and how everything’s healing underneath.

Part 2: Now that the cast is on, here’s what a good fit should look and feel like - snug, supported, and secure without causing sharp pain or pressure.

We also walk you through the key do’s and don’ts to keep your cast clean, comfortable, and healing well.

DO’s
• Keep the limb elevated when resting
• Exercise fingers/toes and all nearby joints - move, move, move!
• Rinse with fresh water only if needed

DON’Ts
• Don’t insert anything inside the cast
• Avoid sand and dirt getting inside
• Don’t use a hair dryer on hot - if you need to dry off after a shower, use a hairdryer on the cold setting only

And if your pain ever hits a 10/10, please head straight to emergency. Your safety comes first 🤎

Meet Bailey, one of our incredible support carers who brings heart, patience and steady support to every person he works with 🤎

He’s someone who genuinely loves being a carer - the kind of person who shows up with a smile, listens without judgement, and makes sure people feel seen and supported in their day-to-day.

When he’s not out in the community, you’ll usually catch him hitting the books as he works toward his nursing qualification. He’s passionate about growing his skills so he can keep giving people the kind of care that really makes a difference.

And on his days off? He’s all about staying active and lends his skills as a gymnastics coach.

We’re lucky to have him on our team, and our clients feel it too. Thank you Bailey for all that you do to give back to the community! 🤎
