Hello lovely Sundance yogis!
Our last class for the year is here, so let’s make it a fun and nourishing one. We’ll explore some beautiful heart-focused movements, opening the chest and lifting our spirits as we head into the festive season.

We’ll also gently release the neck and shoulders, and strengthen the belly and hips so your back feels free, comfortable, and relaxed.

Let’s enjoy this final practice together before we roll into Christmas and the New Year.

Hello everyone 😊

Tomorrow morning’s Remedial Yoga Therapy class will be dedicated to the function of the heart.
The heart, a soft yin organ, is beautifully connected to the armpits, tongue and hands — and we’ll be exploring these pathways throughout our practice.

We’ll work with the heart system to soften, open and rebalance these areas. By the end of the class, you can expect to feel relaxed, spacious through the chest, and more connected to yourself, to others and to the natural world around you.

Give it a go tomorrow — I hope to see you on the mat at 7.30am at Sundance Studio.

P.S. Bring your swimmers if you’d like to join us for a refreshing ocean dip afterwards.

It is my pleasure and of course, with much excitement that I officially introduce you to Miss Charlotte Clark 🥰 A ray of light and wisdom & already a favourite among many of our regular clients at Sundance. So without further ado, here she is:-

🦋 Charlotte – Registered Acupuncturist

Charlotte has been practicing as a registered acupuncturist since early 2024. After receiving acupuncture, she found the sessions had greatly benefitted her health and lifestyle, above and beyond what she had originally sought treatment for, which was 'simple' shoulder pain.

She knew that she wanted to help people, and has now found a particular passion in women's health and mental health, both of which have significant research and support in Chinese medicine traditions.

Charlotte also has experience treating musculoskeletal, digestive, immune system, pain, and fertility conditions

She uses her experience in both the modern scientific and energy healing fields to inform her practice, which stands firmly in Traditional Chinese channel and point theory traditions.

The rich history of Chinese medicine and its nuances continue to engage her, and she constantly learning new things to bring back and support her clients.
She loves treating and honours the practice of Chinese Medicine by approaching each of her clients as individuals with individual needs.

If you’re coming to 7:30am yoga in the morning - Sunday 9th November- I will have Jamu shots available. Large shots for $4 with a $1 cash return for bottles.

Jamu shots are a concentrate of turmeric - from Siebel- el Arish farm, ginger and honey from my farm and bees, pineapple from Lenny’s and a dash of pepper to activate! 🍍 🫚 🍯 🌼 🐝

So good for your immune system and anti inflammatory- a health kick right before or after class 😉 thank you to all who contributed to the gathering of locally grown produce!
