🎁 Giving Tuesday – December 2 🎁
Join the global movement of generosity and help make a real difference right here in our community!

This Giving Tuesday, we’re aiming to raise $11,000 to purchase two hospital beds with air-alternating mattresses for EPC clients who cannot afford to hire them.

Why does this matter?
✅ These beds allow people to receive care at home, in the comfort of their preferred environment.
✅ They bring dignity, relief, and peace of mind to families during the most challenging times.
✅ These beds also assist our staff to manage and move our clients safely.

💗 Your kindness can make this possible. Every donation counts!
👉 Donate today at www.epcvic.org.au/donate

Together, we can bring comfort and dignity to those who need it most.
📢 Final tally will be shared in EPC’s March newsletter — let’s hit that $11,000 goal!

💡 Future Thinking + Cyber Smarts!
As part of our Allied Health & Nursing Joint Forum, we were inspired by Daisy Wong from Future Crunch – a cybersecurity leader and disability advocate known for her bright pink wheelchair, matching hair, and even brighter leadership.

Daisy shared her vision of a future built on collaboration and inclusivity, and gave us practical cybersecurity tips to stay safe in an online world where what's real and fake are hard to tell apart.

A huge thank you to Daisy Wong, Future Crunch, and especially Justin McNeany from Keynote Entertainment for making it all happen! 🙌

🥗 Food for Thought – Literally! 🧠
At our Allied Health & Nursing Joint Forum, Dr Tetyana Rocks from Deakin’s Food & Mood Centre shared fascinating research on the gut–mind connection and how what we eat can influence our mood.

Inspired by her talk, our staff kitchen has been serving up some gut-friendly goodness:
✨ Sweet potato & capsicum muffins with chickpea flour, cottage cheese & sunflower seeds
✨ Cocoa & beetroot muffins with a sneaky chickpea flour boost for extra legumes 😊
