Sleep Apnea Consultant
Location: Moama Village Pharmacy
Employment Type: Full Time
About the Role:
We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Sleep Apnea Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with patients experiencing sleep disorders, providing expert guidance, diagnostic support, and ongoing care to help improve their quality of sleep and overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments for individuals experiencing sleep-related issues.
- Provide education and guidance on the use of CPAP equipment, including masks, machines, and accessories.
- Offer ongoing support and care to patients and their families throughout their treatment journey.
- Educate patients and families about sleep disorders, treatment options, and lifestyle recommendations.
- Maintain, clean, and prepare equipment in accordance with safety and hygiene standards.
- Accurately document patient interactions and maintain records in line with clinic and regulatory requirements.
About You:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a caring and patient focused approach.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple patient needs.
- Ability to explain technical information clearly and confidently.
- Experience or training in sleep health, respiratory therapy, or a related healthcare field (preferred but not essential).
