SUNDAY SPORTS INJURY CLINIC

Our Sunday Sports Injury Clinic runs every week throughout the winter sports season, providing timely assessment for athletes injured during weekend competition (not limited to football).

If you’ve been injured while playing for your local club, you don’t need to wait until later in the week for care. Drop in on Sunday morning for a prompt assessment and initial diagnosis by an experienced physiotherapist, so you can understand your injury and next steps sooner.

Where: Echuca Moama Physio, 72 Meninya Moama
When: Every Sunday morning at 10.30-11.30 during the winter sports season
Cost: $30 (please bring cash)

This clinic is designed specifically for recent sporting injuries sustained during weekend play.

Quite a lot has happened over here at Echuca Moama Physio since made this little feature video of our clinic! Stage one of our extension is complete and we moved in to our big, bright Pilates studio at the start of this year. Stage two, which comprises a new reception and waiting area plus new treatment rooms, is well underway.
Since this video we have also welcomed four new physios - Asta, Logan, Tiah and Jack which means we now have much better appointment availability.
We love our bush block and the clinic we have built up from humble beginnings in the front of Sean and Kate’s house 🙌

OUR SUNDAY SPORTS INJURY CLINIC IS AVAILABLE EVERY SUNDAY THROUGHOUT THE FOOTBALL SEASON (but not exclusive to football injuries).

If you injure yourself playing for your local club on the weekend, don’t wait until Monday or later to find an appointment. Drop in and get it assessed by an experienced physiotherapist.

Jack’s back in the clinic this week after providing physiotherapy services for the M25 Burnie iInternational tennis tournament. Pictured here is Jack with men’s finalist, Li Tu. Jack assisted Li, alongside his coach, Australian tennis legend Pat Cash, in managing his patella tendinopathy during the 7 day tournament.

We’re happy to have Jack back in the clinic and love hearing about his achievements in the physio sporting world!

We would like to take a moment to recognise and congratulate one of our directors, Matthew Dobeli, on winning the Spirit of Sport award and the recent Echuca Moama Sportstar of the Year ceremony. Matt is a keen cyclist and we are proud of how he has built up the cycling club and encouraged riders young and old. Well done Matt!! 🥇

With our renovations in full swing, there is no disability parking on the premises and general car parking spaces out the front are very limited. If you can park nearby and walk a short distance it will allow those with mobility issues to park close by ♿️

If you have mobility issues and can’t park close to the clinic, please ring reception and we’ll come and assist.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we work through these temporary situations. We promise our clinic will be bigger and better in a few months!

Some of you may have noticed Jack’s absence from the clinic this past week. Instead of treating in the clinic room, Jack has been residing in Burnie, Tasmania for the Burnie Junior International. During this 7 day tennis tournament, Jack found himself treating various tennis related sporting injuries. One of the many injured was fellow Aussie, Georgia Campbell. Although suffering from a worsening abdominal strain, she was able to go deep into the tournament to defeat Japan’s Miyu Nishiwaki in the final 6-2, 7-6, 7-5.

Due to the nature of junior competition, no photos are to be taken with the players so here’s a photo of Jack and Georgia’s dad (Nick) following her finals win.

A very exciting day for us today. We moved into our brand new Pilates studio! 🙌 The space is amazing, the view is spectacular and we thank all of our clients who followed us over to Echuca and continued sessions for the last few months in our unique little setting. WE ARE BACK! We would also like to thank for their professionalism, guidance and timeliness in getting this beautiful space ready ahead of time.
We look forward to welcoming old and new clients to our studio. Thank you for your patience 🙏🏼

We are soon to begin stage two of our extension where we will gain extra treatment rooms and a larger reception and waiting area. Exciting times!
