They gave their tomorrow for our today.

Today, we pause to remember and honour all who have served and those who continue to serve our country with courage and sacrifice.

We also pay tribute to the nurses who have stood beside them through it all - providing care, comfort and humanity in the darkest of times. Their compassion and strength continue to inspire us and remind us of the true spirit of service. Lest we forget 💙

Physiotherapist Rachel recently joined our Nurses in Action program in Kenya, where she combined her professional skills with a passion for helping others. Immersed in local life, she worked alongside communities, supported rehabilitation and experienced firsthand the impact volunteers can make.

Here’s what she shared about her journey: "Working as a Physiotherapist in the Nurses in Action program provided an amazing opportunity to share my expertise, support community-based rehabilitation and gain invaluable experience working with diverse patient groups. Living in a local community meant we were immersed in local culture, provide vital care in underserved areas, and contribute to improving health outcomes locally. This rewarding opportunity is perfect for compassionate, adaptable Physiotherapists seeking to make a real impact abroad and develop new skills in the vibrant Kenyan setting."

Thank you Rachel, and to all our incredible volunteers, for the skills, compassion and dedication you bring to communities around the world.
