Today, we gathered with family and friends in Traralgon to celebrate the life of Mr. Frederick Lancaster.

On display was “BERTHA,” Fred’s much-loved Holden FX and his very first car. Purchased brand new in 1953 from a Heyfield dealership at just 18 years of age, the car remains in immaculate condition today thanks to the dedicated restoration work of his son-in-law, Terry.

It was truly special to have something so meaningful on display, beautifully representing the pride and joy that held a special place in Fred’s life.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of Mrs Gwenda Shields on December 16, 2025, at her home in Traralgon. Gwenda is now reunited with her beloved husband, Kenny. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with her family and friends during this very difficult time.
