We’re excited to welcome Doug Allen, a final-year Osteopathy student from Victoria University, who will be joining Gippy Osteo for supervised clinical placement. Doug will be treating patients on Wednesdays from December 3rd, with the possibility of continuing into the New Year.
Patients can access affordable appointments while still receiving safe, high-quality care. Doug will be working semi-independently under onsite supervision, with Kenneth available if needed for support and review.
PLEASE NOTE - Appointment fees are reduced and cannot be claimed through Private Health Funds or Medicare.
To book with Doug, give Kenneth a call or SMS on 0493 882 914
Here’s a little more from Doug:
“After Covid I decided to study Osteopathy at Victoria University, beginning this journey in 2022. I successfully completed the undergraduate degree, Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy), in 2024 and will complete a Masters of Health Science (Osteopathy) in June 2026.
Before returning to study, I worked for Australian Red Cross Lifeblood for 15 years in account management and community engagement, including 5 years working throughout Gippsland.
Being a mature-aged student, I have a wealth of life experiences behind me which helps me form connections with patients and understand the impact their symptoms can have on day-to-day life.
Outside of study I’m a married father of two boys. I played competitive cricket throughout my 20s in Melbourne and England until a knee injury forced me into retirement. These days I enjoy playing golf to stay active.”
