TRADITIONAL HATHA YOGA CLASSES
Wednesday 7am to 8am
Drop in welcome

ome and experience traditional Hatha yoga with Sandeep to leave you feeling aligned and centered as you step into the New Year. This practice is centered around a more traditional approach to Hatha yoga, including a combination of asana, pranayama and relaxation, and is accessible to all levels of fitness and yoga experience.

Originally from Delhi, India, Sandeep was drawn to the practice of yoga over 20 years ago to help treat a chronic sinus issue and immediately experienced the physical benefits of the practice.
Over time, Sandeep also came to appreciate the more subtle benefits of yoga with improvements to his mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing, and felt called to share the practice with others.
As a teacher, Sandeep most enjoys being able to guide students into the more subtle benefits and moments of bliss in each pose or breath that are so important to cultivate in today’s society.

Sandeep has trained with the Bihar School of Yoga, Sivananda Yoga Vedanta, and has a Masters of Yoga from Uttarakhand Open University.

This Saturday, join kitti, .sacredbodywork for a flying lesson.

Ka’alele’au (aka flying) is the movement at the foundation of Kahuna Bodywork & a powerful practice of self discovery.

Developed by native born Hawaiian Kahuna Kahu Abraham Kawai’i, from ancient hula & martial arts, Ka’alele’au uses repetitive flowing figure eight style movements to teach the sacred principles of the Kahuna, principles that ensure a robust, steady & wholesome interaction with life.
Ka'alele'au is both a dance & a dynamic meditative practice utilising gestures similar to Qi Gong. It is suitable to all ages & abilities.

Synopsis:

The doorway to death is the last great frontier in a human life.

We know intellectually our time will end, and yet, in the Western world at least we often act as if death is a mirage, disappearing the closer we move towards it.
Two doctors in Melbourne have engaged psilocybin to help ease the anguish of patients at end of life, and the results they have seen are remarkable. But this visioning tool, like other plant medicines, is not new, it comes from ancient traditions that are now being funneled into Western medicine.

It is possible the world’s oldest cultures have something important to teach us, not just about traditional medicines but about one of the most essential aspects of human life, its end?
