Last night!!! We had the perfect little storm sit right in the sweet spot of our catchment and let me tell you it was a sight for sore eyes! Water almost going over Reynolds creek bridge. Will definitely keep you updated if we get anymore.

The fact is this IS OUR WAY OF LIFE for all of us. It’s not only a way of life for our kids and us but this Lake is a lifeline for all our small family businesses in this area. The lake brings a large number for tourist (and tourist $$) to our region week in and week out. The lost of campers to lake Moogerah is not being fully felt as we have had COVID and the low water levels however from our experience when things do recover other local businesses will definitely feel the loss of visitors staying at Lake Moogerah.

A young family fighting for access to Moogerah Dam for their small tourism operation say their way of life is at stake after a draining two year struggle against bureaucracy.
