Introducing Carly!
Carly Bagust, B.App.Sc (Speech Pathology), CPSP, is an experienced therapist who has worked for the past 10 years in a multidisciplinary team working with complex vulnerable families. Carly has a passion for empowering clients and their families to achieve their best communication outcomes.
Carly has worked closely with teachers, early childhood educators, psychologists, occupational therapists, pediatricians as well as support workers and families. Carly has consulted with mainstream schools, preschools and behaviour support classes to tailor supports enabling each child to achieve to their full potential.
Carly has vast experiences in assisting parents and her clients dealing with speech sound disorders, literacy, phonological awareness, language disorder, stuttering, childhood apraxia of speech, alternative and augmentative communication, sensory issues, childhood trauma, autism, attachment, parenting and behaviour support.3
Carly is certified in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics© and has had extensive training in Marte Meo, Circle of Security, Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), as well as stuttering programs for pre-schoolers through to adolescents including the Lidcombe program, Oakville Program and Westmead program. Carly has also trained in Blades Language Therapy and Robust Vocabulary instruction and had extensive experience with Nuffield, ReST, PECS, Blanks Levels of Questions and parent training.
Carly is available to provide a mobile speech pathology service, servicing Mooloolaba and surrounding suburbs. She is available for assessments, therapy and preschool screenings and can visit you and your child at home, school or preschool.
