Prior to your Microsuction ear wax removal appointment, we kindly request that you soften your earwax each night for two nights. You can use plain home olive oil or ear wax removal products from the pharmacy.

🚫 Do not soften if you have a perforated ear drum or fluid coming out of the ear. If you are unsure, please contact the clinic or skip this request.

To help support the local community and to reduce some of the demand on GP clinics I am currently offering free ear health assessments for school aged children, teens and adults. These short assessments allow me to check the ear canal for excess earwax or other common ear issues.

If excess wax is identified, you can choose to book an appointment for microsuction removal. If I notice any other ear-related concerns, I will recommend that you follow up with your GP.

If your ears have been feeling blocked, full, itchy, sore, or just not quite right, it can be hard to know what’s actually causing it.

I’m now offering a free ear assessment here for a limited time on the Sunshine Coast, so you can have your ears checked in a calm and professional setting before deciding on the next step. Using specialised direct microscopic vision, I can look closely for wax build-up and also identify anything that may need further attention from your GP.

Sometimes it is wax. Sometimes it isn’t. Either way, a proper assessment can give you clarity, reassurance, and the right direction.
