With the new Psychology Board Code of Conduct coming into effect today we are shining a light on something many people didn’t realise: Psychologists legally cannot respond to google reviews, turn them off or encourage anyone to leave them.
It’s not avoidance, it’s confidentiality
It’s not silence, it’s professionalism
And it’s designed to protect the dignity, privacy and safety of the people we support.
Google reviews play a very different role in mental health than in other industries, and this new Code reinforces that boundary even more clearly.
Swipe through to understand why reviews work differently in psychology, how we uphold our ethical responsibilities at Solution Psychology, and what this means for you.
If you’d ever like to share feedback privately, you can always contact us directly. We’re here, and we’re listening.

Come along with us to Waffle’s vet visit! 🐢✨
Dr Tristan from The Unusual Pet Vets in Flemington stopped by the clinic to check how Waffle is progressing now that he’s 3, and we’re so happy to share he’s thriving in his Solution home.
As Waffle has gotten older Dr Tristan is now 75-80% sure that Waffle is a boy!
We also picked up some great tips, so you might soon spot new plants in Waffle’s tank and a few fun additions to his diet… all of which he’ll gobble up very quickly!

Movember is about starting conversations that men don’t always feel comfortable having from stress and burnout to relationships and mental health.
This month, we’re shining a light on support, connection, and the power of checking in.
We’re also excited to be expanding our team in January with three new team members - including two male clinicians - giving our community even more access to care, support, and choice.

Sensory overload happens when the brain takes in more information than it can process, and it’s common in autism. 🌿
In our latest blog, learn what sensory overload looks like, what can trigger it, and how to help create calm when things feel unmanageable. (link in bio)
