It’s been a tough day for us.

We are extremely disappointed by the events that occurred last night. Our store was broken into, stock was stolen, and our beautiful new space was damaged.

We want to sincerely thank the police for their quick response, the surrounding local businesses who have already shared CCTV footage, our incredible staff for stepping up to clean and manage the situation, and our community for the overwhelming support and kind words we’ve received today.

THEIVES TARGET DESIGNER SUNNIES AT MOONTA

Police are investigating a break-in at Moonta overnight.

About 2.30am today Wednesday 22 April, police were called to Ryan Street to reports of a break in at an optometrist.

Police were quickly in attendance finding the front window smashed and a large quantity of designer sunglasses stolen.

Police searched the area and were unable to locate the suspects.

Anyone who may have been witness to the incident or who has CCTV or dashcam footage that may assist with the investigation is asked to contact Crime Stoppers
