✨ Clearer vision. Less fog. ✨
We developed a new custom scleral lens design in our practice to better support patients with complex corneas—like those with keratoconus, corneal grafts, or post-surgical changes.

Scleral lenses typically settle and lose some of their central clearance over time. But with this design, we actually saw a 76 micron increase in central clearance one month after fitting.

💡 What does that mean if you’re wearing them?
• Less pressure on sensitive parts of your eye
• More comfortable wear, even all day
• Clearer vision with less ‘midday fog’
• More stability, less fluctuation

We’re hopeful this approach will lead to better long-term comfort and clearer, more reliable vision for people who rely on scleral lenses every day.

David had a great time working with and his ECP colleages from across APAC to chair a workshop exploring ways of improving the adoption of toric soft contact lenses for the correction of astigmatism.

Thank you particularly to Tacy Song and her team for coordinating and Travis Plage from Media MICE for facilitating the session. (as well as for making me look more professional than the real set up was in my clinic!)

The appropriate correction of vision for full enjoyment of life and happiness is an important part of eyecare. The increased adoption of soft contact lenses for astigmatism across the Asia Pacific region is an important goal for eye care practitioners.

The extraordinary range of options available from to correct astigmatism with soft disposable contact lenses certainly helps to facilitate this as well.
