We specialise in weekend, overnight and emergency respite care for children and teenagers with disability. We have cared for children and teenagers with many diagnoses including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Asperger, Intellectual Disability, Global Development Delay, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Longer stays may be arranged by negotiation including public and school holidays. Care is provided in a group setting. To ensure a harmonious mix of clients we arrange a “Meet and greet” session with all new clients to assess their needs and suitability for our environment. The more information we have, the better we can accommodate your child or teenager and ensure they feel secure and comfortable. Dietary, medication requirements and any other special needs can be discussed at that time. About Linda
Linda has been providing respite care for children and teenagers from her home since 2006. She has completed a Diploma of Community Services, Diploma of Children’s Services and attends many professional development courses to enhance her skills and knowledge. Linda holds a National Police Certificate, Blue Card, Yellow Card and current First Aid/CPR and Mental Health First Aid qualifications. Linda gained valuable experience working at The Autism Queensland School with a team of Teachers, Psychologists, Speech and Occupational Therapists. Linda is a Justice of the Peace (Qualified). Member: Queenslanders with Disability Network

The Team all have a National Police Certificate, Blue and Yellow Cards, First Aid/CPR, Mental Health First Aid and attend regular Professional Development. Provides a modern, safe and secure environment. It is fully air-conditioned and fenced. It offers a comfortable and homely environment. Each child or teenager is offered as much choice and control as possible over how they spend their time and who they spend their time with. Activities
We provide many interactive activities in-house including feeding our chickens, arts and crafts, cooking, games, reading and more. We also visit local playgrounds and farms, libraries, play centres, 10-pin bowling, cinemas and nature walks. What our clients are saying...

We will have a full hands-on horse experience! The children will wash, brush and feed the horses, clean their hooves, and learn how to care for these beautiful animals. Their confidence will grow as they connect with the horses and take on new responsibilities. These moments will build confidence, responsibility and calm connection — and the kids will absolutely love it.
