Refilling candle jars is not as cute and sustainable as it sounds 🙅♀️
Every time a candle burns, the glass jar heats up. Every time it cools down, the glass contracts. Heat up, cool down. Heat up, cool down.
Over time, that repeated thermal stress affects the integrity of the glass, tiny micro-fractures can develop that you simply cannot see with the naked eye. The jar looks completely fine. But, it might not be completely fine.
Refill it, burn it again, and that possibly compromised glass is now sitting on your shelf with a lit flame inside it. That's not a vibe, it's a hazard.
And personally, that's just not a risk I'm willing to take 🤷♀️
