Refilling candle jars is not as cute and sustainable as it sounds 🙅‍♀️

Every time a candle burns, the glass jar heats up. Every time it cools down, the glass contracts. Heat up, cool down. Heat up, cool down.

Over time, that repeated thermal stress affects the integrity of the glass, tiny micro-fractures can develop that you simply cannot see with the naked eye. The jar looks completely fine. But, it might not be completely fine.

Refill it, burn it again, and that possibly compromised glass is now sitting on your shelf with a lit flame inside it. That's not a vibe, it's a hazard.

And personally, that's just not a risk I'm willing to take 🤷‍♀️

You just know that life is better when your house smells like a 50c Lolly Bag 🤷‍♀️

We never stopped loving lollies, we just got tricked into growing up.

50c Lolly Bags will always be my number 1. Even though they cost way more than 50c these days.

I asked what’s worse? Weak scent or wrong scent.

Overwhelmingly? Weak scent.

Because what’s the point of lighting a candle if you have to stand directly over it to smell anything?

Your house should smell like it.
The room should know about it.
Your nose should not have to work overtime.

Strong. True-to-scent.
All the way through the burn.
