💜 Purple Day for Epilepsy is a global movement dedicated to raising awareness and understanding of epilepsy.

Epilepsy is a neurological condition that affects around 1 in 200 Australians, yet many people still have limited understanding of how it impacts daily life.

Showing support can be as simple as learning more about the condition, supporting those living with epilepsy, and helping to reduce stigma through awareness.

We’re delighted to welcome Dr Eliza Turnbull back to Morningside General Practice Clinic following her maternity leave 💙 Returning Monday 20 April 2026.

It has been a very special time for Dr Turnbull and her family, and we are thrilled to have her returning to the clinic. She has been greatly missed by both our team and her patients, and we know many will be pleased to see her back consulting again.

Dr Turnbull enjoys caring for patients and families through all stages of life and has a special interest in women’s health and children’s health. She is also aligned with Mater Mothers’ Hospital, providing shared antenatal care.

Dr Ashelford has been practicing General Practice since 2018 and achieved her Fellowship of the RACGP in 2020. She previously worked at Gold Coast University Hospital and completed paediatric training at Queensland Children’s Hospital.
