Signs your child might be worried include:

Some positive news in light of the increased restrictions due to COVID-19

The Australian Government are providing 10 additional Medicare subsidised sessions to people in lockdown areas.

If you have already used your 10 sessions this year, you are now eligible for a further 10 and can continue to receive mental health support from a Psychologist.

This is no doubt a difficult time for many, with increased uncertainty and stress. If you need support, contact the rooms on 5976 5257 for an appointment.

The Australian Government will provide 10 additional Medicare subsidised psychological therapy sessions for people subjected to further restrictions in areas impacted by the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

08/07/2020

Despite the Stage 3 restrictions beginning midnight tonight, all sessions will continue to be face to face in the rooms. Being located within a hospital means you will be temperature tested upon entry. Social distancing measures will remain in place.

For those who don’t feel comfortable attending the rooms, or are unable to attend, Telehealth sessions are also available.

Please contact the rooms on (03) 5976 5257 if you have any questions or concerns.
