We’re excited to welcome Jo to the team as our new Scheduling Coordinator! Another piece of our Jigsaw puzzle is complete.

Jo brings a strong passion for organisation and a people-first approach, making her a fantastic addition to our allied health team. In her role, Jo will be responsible for coordinating appointments, managing clinician schedules, and ensuring our clients receive timely and seamless access to the care they need.

Working closely with both our practitioners and clients, Jo will help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes—balancing complex schedules, handling changes with ease, and supporting the delivery of high-quality, client-centred services.

Happy Easter! 🐣🐰

We had a special visit from the Easter Bunny… and, being a team of Speechies, Physios & OTs, we couldn’t help but notice a few differences 👀

After a big night of hopping around the world, our fluffy friend seemed to be:
🗣️ a little short of breath mid-“hippity hop” as well as coughing after his carrot snack
🚶‍♂️ showing some interesting hopping mechanics
🖐️ and possibly in need of a quick OT-approved rest break!

Safe to say… by the time he reached us, the hop had turned into a bit of a waddle 🐇➡️🦆

Don’t worry — we’ve left him our details and booked him in for some rest, recovery, and a full team approach next week. We’ll have him back to peak performance in no time!

Until then, we’re officially on the case 🕵️‍♀️

Let’s talk about the community we are creating 🤍

For those that don’t know… I arrived in Australia about 10 years ago with nothing more than a backpack.

No family. No support network. Just me.

Fast forward to now, I have a partner and a beautiful 2.5-year-old. But my wider family is still on the other side of the world, and my mum is no longer here. Building a sense of belonging hasn’t come easy. It’s taken years of putting myself out there, building friendships, and finding “my people.”

These last few weeks have been tough one with some personal health news… but then something small (yet incredibly meaningful) happened.

A friend, Markus from Growth, Relationships, Opportunity showed up with my favourite chocolates.
The same ones my mum loved.

And in that moment, it just reminded me…

This is what community is.

It’s not just services.
It’s not just a place.
It’s people who show up. Who care. Who remember the little things.

That’s exactly why we created South Connect Health Hub.

Not just to provide therapy but to build a space where people feel seen, supported, and connected. A place where no one feels like they have to do life alone.

Because real impact happens when people belong.

We’re so proud of the community that’s growing here and we’re only just getting started 🤍
