Vacancies now available in our teen and adult Skill Development Program at our Southern Hub Morphett Vale, 1:1
Tailored to individual needs and can include things like cooking, baking, budgeting for weekly shop, bulk cooking, food safety, budget meals, resume writing, exploring the local area, help completing forms. finding places of interest to visit or let us know your goals and interests .. usually 3-5hour sessions depending on what you would like to achieve from your NDIS core funding.
8ball, table tennis, TV with VR and other activities while you wait for food to cook.
We also offer a small day options program from the hub

Highwray house 1
Near Southgate plaza Morphett Vale ( photo 1-3)
House 1 looking to share with quiet man in his late 50s. He likes peace and quiet in his environment. Likes staying home. House has 1 bedroom available and has two lounge areas so you get one to yourself. 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3 considered or core support hours (staffed 24/7)

Pembry house 2
House 2 near Woolworths at Morphett Vale
One vacancy remaining for a younger person to share with 18 year old. Young person is happy to consider male or female house mate. 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 or core support hours considered - accepting open minded of LGBT+ community (Not staffed 24/7)

House 3 Sheidow park
Happy to consider all funding ratios or core support hours
Currently taking expression of interest for house (has short term participant in house but available shortly)

House 4 Plympton park photo 4-5)
Small house 2 bedrooms available - lovely quiet location
Available for respite

All houses are close to shops and bus stops.

Happy to consider all funding ratios or core support hours / please note house not currently staffed 24/7. Staff available off site if needed and has staffed hours during the day. Has therapy dog so must like dogs. Participant is in their 30s and prefers to share with someone who has no BOC and reasonably independent person / quiet and keeps to themselves.

All are close to shops and bus stops.

As the year draws to a close, I’d like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Please stay safe on the roads and enjoy time with family and friends.

We are taking a brief break 4pm 24th December until the 6th January 2025.

We are still taking bookings for our 1:1 cooking / baking sessions (only a couple sessions remaining) that have proven to be a real hit already. Still have some Saturday sessions available for the 11th January and 18th January for 2 hours of baking with a very experienced baker of 30plus years experience. Can also make savoury foods. Birthday cooking parties are lots of fun too where you get to make / bake and decorate your own party food with your friends…Please send email for more details.

Last Saturday we baked cornflake cookies, peanut butter chocolate cookies and oat biscuits.. lots of goodies for Christmas gifts.

We have our art and craft days 14th and 17th January 2 hour sessions

We are also doing our meet at the movies sessions at Noarlunga cinema (Moana 2 and Paddington) in January.
