Whether you're a runner or love a weights sesh, the benefits of cross training are huge.
Yoga can help with mental focus, preparing your body for improved sleep, increased range of motion, lengthened muscles, joint health and balance.

I've recently started jogging and found my quads and hip flexors tightening. Mermaid pose pictured here is one of many asana (poses) that target these areas.

Who do you know that's got some struggles at the moment? Maybe this year you're the one who feels as though you're barely treading water? In an ideal world we'd all have the time and the energy to check in on our mates everyday, but having a day of recognition is a great reminder to talk it out with a friend and reconnect with someone who's maybe feeling a little isolated. Don't underestimate the power of human connection 🧡
