Our energy system in our bodies has seven major energy centers that are like spinning wheels in a way. They are called chakras and each carries responsibility for particular facets of out lives as seen below in the chart. They each carry capacity to help certain parts of our physiology, our body also. A Reiki practitioner can restore balance and efficiency to your chakras. Some people, though rarely can actually see the energy meridians, chakras and the aura of our bodies. I was inside the doorway of a shop once and a lady came in and told me that she could see my aura from her car across the carpark and that it was very bright and beautiful. I thought " how special, to have that gift".
Scientists know that our hands emit electromagnetic energy. Our bodies are energy when you get right down to its basic nature. I don't have a Reiki business anymore but I treasure that I can continue to calm and lift the energies of children, adults, animals, even plants.

Reiki means universal life force energy. This energy of ours is all around us and through us. I've always been extremely sensitive to energies be they energies emanated by people, situations, sacred events like birth or the energies of nature. Right through my life even through the last decade or so when I've privately felt devoid of life force, in a vacuum, trudging through mud, I have felt a deep beautiful energy come to me when I stand outside on a starry night gazing at he moon and stars and the dark night sky. It's as if someone is calling me to feel the love and care coming from way up there somehow. I usually raise my arms to the sky and I can feel a precious special energy.
I believe the energy of love is the main substance of the universe or it was. It's harder to find on planet Earth. Plenty of convenient love, love for status, love for financial security, conditional love ,(taken away if someone more useful or pleasing comes along. ).
I have given Reiki with love even to strangers thousands of times since 2009. We can sent it from a distance if needed. It brings peace and love;always some to the recipients of Reiki even if they don't put it in those words.

The word Reiki means "universal life force energy". So when a Reiki practitioner is doing a Reiki treatment whether in person or through distance healing they are channeling this beautiful life enhancing energy.
The practitioner is not creating self or self generating it as such. It,upon request for you, comes through the energy centre in the crown of their heads and passes out to you via their hands. I appreciate that when I do Reiki for someone I receive some Reiki too as it flows through me.
I feel as if I'm receiving universal life force energy when I am out in nature. It is so, that being in a garden is so full of beautiful life energy that is pure and strong.
My photo here is from my sisters garden where I spent 4 days recently. The garden and the fairy wrens were so healing.

Our bodies have a strong natural thrust to stay in balance and to heal after health downturns. Just think of how magically a cut heals. It's amazing. There's no tablet required, no ointment, no icepack. It just stops bleeding, becomes a little drier, the edges knit together again, the flesh recovers from trauma and after a short time you wouldn't know that your flesh had been sliced open.
Just as our bodies have this amazing life force healing capacity so too does the universal energetic atmosphere and facilitators I believe. Reiki is divine life force energy sent through the practitioners crown chakra down through our hands to give you a boost of intelligent healing how you need it. Just right for you. This may be emotional, mental or physical healing. You just give up control and be open to this amazing gift.

At this time Reiki will boost immune system efficiency. Other modalities which I have found to lift my health in the past, are Kundalini yoga, Yoga, Energy medicine (Google Donna Eden), meditation, EFT tapping (The Tapping Solution. com), affirmations and other life enhancing mindset enhancements.

We can recover from this dreadful Coronavirus period I'm sure but our minds and hearts and a global community have to become richer and healthier. Kinder more tolerant. loving and caring. Nasty things breed in a negative atmosphere as
we all know. Why not a threatening virus?
We also need to be more respectful of our bodies and refrain from exposing it to toxins, heavy metals where possible and excessive overloads of ingestible material eg processed sugar, red meat, casein (a protein in dairy that the immune system finds problematic), excessive gluten- wheat has way too much gluten these days.
Be very nurturing of your bodies , of each other and of life on our beautiful planet.

Apparently Heaven with its healers and helpers, always with us, heal us when we are asleep only as a general rule. We have something extra they can access however. A beautiful opportunity for them to come in a give us a big boost of universal healing energy -Reiki! So I would love to see everyone doing Reiki on themselves so that healing can be sent more often and more intensely. I know that Reiki had been a great healer for me.

If you are open to believing that there is a vital, powerful life force energy moving through all of life you open yourself to opportunities to enhance and harness this power. You don't however have to believe in Reiki energy to experience it, but firmly shutting out possibility of a healing energy being facilitated may sadly hamper any flow that may happen.
An enhancement of this flow may happen in many ways not just having hands on healing. A yoga session, dancing, being deeply moved by a beautiful sight or sound, immersing yourself in nature ie, a bush walk or working in the garden, meditation, a gentle hug from a child, prayer. Peace brings healing. Nature brings healing.

Reiki Harmony

Reiki on myself and meditation go hand in hand for me every evening. I used to suffer significantly from anxiety but when I started meditating the anxiety state went way down in intensity. Dramatic.

I've never meditated cross legged, always just sitting on the couch or laying in my bed!

Meditation takes you to the place between your thoughts which is a peaceful, calming place. Noone stops thinking completely during meditation. When you become aware of a thought happening just wave it good bye. Those often brief moments of nothingness, which are actually rich in spirituality (meeting your inner self and connecting with the universal consciousness), add up to creating a new tranquil you.

I think its safe to say that any chronic health issue is a result of bodily systems being out of balance. So many factors are at play within the body's chemistry.
Having an inquiring mind about your health condition is, in my view, important.
Good nutrition, both therapeutically and for prevention is a huge need. You are what you eat.
Reiki can help with balance in the body. Its a boost for your immune system.

Reiki Harmony

Animals benefit from Reiki also. They are very attuned to energies, sensing any Reiki happening around them and usually wanting a share of it.

I had just finished giving my daughter 15 minutes of Reiki on her sciatica. They have a cat, Li'l Boy who is only ever affectionate with his human parents. Likes a pat on the head but that's all, thankyou. As soon as I finished Danielle's Reiki, Li'l Boy walked over my lap, rubbed his head against me very affectionately several times, nestled in my lap purring and began to massage me with his little paws and claws. I was astounded.
A Reiki treatment followed, the first for him.
