🛍️ A little treasure hunting before lunch…

On Tuesday we’re stopping at the huge UTURN pre-loved warehouse in Punchbowl. Rows of racks, vintage finds and bargains waiting to be discovered.

The younger generation call it “thrifting” - giving great items a second life.

After our browse we’ll head to Club Rivers for lunch.

Our upcoming overnight trip to the beautiful Southern Highlands is coming up 19–21 May, and we still have a few places available.

We’ll be enjoying two relaxed days taking in the lovely autumn colours, country scenery and charming villages of the Highlands, with a stay at the retro-revived Motel Melrose in the heart of Mittagong.

There’s still time to join us for our relaxing overnight trip to the beautiful Southern Highlands from 19–21 May.

This time we’ll be staying at the newly revived Motel Melrose, a charming retro-style hotel right in the heart of Mittagong, close to local shops and restaurants.

Over two days we’ll soak up the lovely autumn colours, scenic countryside and relaxed village atmosphere the Highlands is known for. Expect good company, delicious meals and plenty of time to enjoy the region’s welcoming cafés, gardens and local highlights.

Wow – our visit to the Ron Mueck: Encounter at Art Gallery of New South Wales last week had our jaws on the floor.

The sculptures are unbelievably lifelike – you almost expect them to blink. Some are huge, some tiny, but every detail is incredible. It’s one of those exhibitions that makes you stop and stare.

What a fantastic day out at the Sydney Royal Easter Show!
