📢 NDIS Funding Periods Explained:

Since 19th May 2025, the NDIS introduced funding periods to help participants manage their budgets effectively.

✅ What are funding periods?
Funding periods are set timeframes within your NDIS plan where a portion of your budget is released. This ensures your funding is spread across the entire plan duration.

⏳ How does it work?
Funding can be released monthly, quarterly, or longer for longer plan (5 year plans).
You can only use the funds that have been released.
Any unused funds will roll over into the next funding period.

💡 Why did the NDIS introduce this?
To help with budgeting and ensure supports are available throughout your plan.

📞 If you’re unsure how your funding periods work, reach out to your roundsquared Consultant or the Plan Management Team for guidance.
