Supported Employment
Yumaro’s Supported Employment service operates 10 social enterprises providing meaningful permanent employment for over 100 people with a disability in horticulture, manufacturing, textiles, recycling, administration, marketing and community services. Home and Community Support
Yumaro’s Home and Community Support Service matches professional support workers to people with a disability to provide independence at home and in the community. Customised Employment
Yumaro’s Customised Employment programs engage and support people with a disability in employment with local businesses such as schools, hospitals and the Rural Fire Service. The service also supports individuals to establish their own micro businesses. Coordination of Supports
Yumaro’s Coordination of Supports service provides professional case management support to over 80 people with a disability. Yumaro is a registered charity providing a diverse range of innovative disability services to over 220 people with a permanent disability in the Eurobodalla and southern Shoalhaven shires. Plan Management
Yumaro’ Plan Management Service provides trusted financial management / bookkeeping support for over 80 participants NDIS plans. Specialist Disability Accommodation
Yumaro’s Specialist Disability Accommodation Complex in Moruya accommodates 7 people with significant disabilities and provides short term respite accommodation stays. Learning Centre
Yumaro’s Learning Centre provides a range of innovative disability specific educational programs (eg LLN, IT, driving skills, music, health and personal capacity building) that build the capacity of our participants to help them succeed in all aspects of life.

A lot of construction went into decorating Yumaro Nursery & Garden Centre's Sow Good Event last weekend and the crew couldn’t help but admire Joey’s carpentry skills.

It quickly sparked an interest in woodworking, so they started a Woodworking Group.

Day one focused on the basics of tools, safety and working with timber and everyone enjoyed the chance to try something new and get creative.

We’re proud to share that Lilian (Lily) Meade is currently exhibiting her artwork at the Bay Pavilions, Batemans Bay, throughout March.

With support from a Yumaro Individual Grant, Lily has brought her exhibition Thinking Out Loud to life — and it’s already making an impact, with artworks sold on opening night!!

Lily is an emerging local artist whose bold, expressive work explores emotion, movement, and self‑expression.

We are beyond grateful to every single person who made this event possible. Our vendors, speakers, artists, and volunteers. 💛 Your creativity, energy, and passion brought the festival to life and created a space filled with connection, learning, laughter, and community.

Seeing people come together to share, explore, and celebrate reminded us why we do what we do.

From the beautiful market stalls, food, the inspiring workshops and performances, every moment was a reflection of the love and effort you all put in.

Yumaro is an award winning regional provider of supported employment, specialist disability accommodation, coordination of supports, training, plan management, in home and community supports as well as social programs for people with a disability in the Eurobodalla and Shoalhaven regions. Established in 1984, the organisation has been a pioneer in the new world of the NDIS - providing a holistic approach to improving lives by offering a full range of wrap around supports within the one organisation for people with a disability. Yumaro has physical sites in Moruya and Ulladulla and supports over 190 service recipients and employs 165 staff. Yumaro is a proud contributor to the local community and the disability sector. Yumaro completed a brand new accommodation facility in 2018 that incorporates 5 one bedroom units, a 2 bed respite unit, onsite carer accommodation and a 4 bed group home with 2 living areas and en suits to all bedrooms plus an additional onsite room for overnight support staff.
