These photos show the before and after result of an upper ear reduction performed 6 weeks previously under local anaesthetic. You can still see the fine red line at the site of the beautifully healed incision- this will fade over the next few weeks.

This procedure is technically known as a scaphoid fossa reduction, and I use it when the upper part of the ear is disproportionately larger than the rest of the ear.
