December Energy aligns to give us the gift of an Alchemic ability. A special and sacred ability. An ability some want more than anything and something others will try to avoid at all costs, but that will be impossible.
The Alchemic Ability is to See. To see through the fog, to see the truth essence, to see the intention, to see the reason, to see authenticity. The brilliance of truth, kindness, respect and accountability will sparkle and bedazzle like a diamond ( or Herkimer Diamond!) likewise fake and false will appear mucky and murky- magnified until it can't be denied.
This Energy will play out in your relationships with others, your work situation, your physical environment, your community and the wider world in general.
This is December's gift, 2025s gift to you. A wanted gift or an unwanted gift, both for your greater good and both feeding an energetic, passionate Dive into a brand new feeling year- 2026. A year of Hope, Opportunity and positive Possibilities.
Our Cards speak of love, connection, loyalty, kindness, and careful, considerate thoughts and planning. A fresh Year, a new Year a new enthusiasm and energy rush. December's gift is the choice to double down on a path or to cut one loose. To know what is worth feeding with our work and energy and what will be a drain, a pointless path, possibly an old pattern repeating.
Inguz, our Rune is all about New Beginnings. Stepping onto a grassy field you have here ever stood on before. 2026 is that grassy field. Placing our foot on it will be our individual choice. Some will act on the information December's gift brings – and some won't. Some will choose to take and make for themselves or by them self which sometimes can be scary or require hard work and some out of fear, denial, laziness or waiting for a rescuer thats not coming will take the slippery slope of a pattern repeating. The difference is we will all ' know' what we need to do this time because Decembers gift showed us. Now what we do with that is our own choice, and choices have consequence. You can't decide to not put petrol in your car then be furious when it wont go. You can't keep following a path you know isn't right for you or others then be furious when things don't go well...there has been a lot of that playing out but December's insight makes One accountable.
So....welcome 2026! welcome a new play book. Welcome new and transparently honest and open, healthy experiences built on good choices and decisions balanced by head and heart for the highest outcome for self and others. A brave new journey in a world ready and in need of us living in the highest and most authentic day to day ways that we can.
Here's to stepping up and greeting 2026 ready and willing.
