We are so excited to be part of the Pride of the Hills celebration on the 27th of March at Stephen Street and the Mount Barker Town Hall! 🏳️‍🌈

🌈 PROUD TO ANNOUNCE A NEW DATE AND PLACE

We said it would happen - and it is!

After being postponed last November due to the weather, Pride of the Hills will be held in Mount Barker on Friday 27 March from 5pm - 8pm at:

🏳️‍🌈 Stephen Street
🏳️‍🌈 Mount Barker Town Hall

Join this celebration of LGBTQIA+ pride, inclusion and diversity with:

🏳️‍🌈 live performances
🏳️‍🌈 delicious food
🏳️‍🌈 community information booths

Everyone is welcome.

Pride of the Hills is a collaboration between:

Mount Barker District Council, Adelaide Hills Council, headspace Mount Barker, Rainbow Hub South Australia, The Hut Community Centre, Mount Barker Community Centre, Summit Health Centre, Thorne Harbour Health, Lutheran Care, Community Connections Program and Human Services SA.

This event is supported by SA Power Networks.

headspace Mount Barker wishes a very happy Holi to everyone celebrating!

Holi is celebrated in Hindu tradition as the arrival of spring, the triumph of good over evil, the strengthening of relationships, and forgiveness.

On the eve of Holi, people gather around bonfires for rituals and storytelling. The next day Holi begins marked by throwing holi colours in the form of powder and water.
