Hi, I'm Tiffany!
I have a background as a university lecturer focusing on literacy development in young children.
I have spent several years as a tutor of adult Indigenous students, and I am profoundly grateful for the insight into the interplay between culture and learning. I have also worked together with an Indigenous mentor to develop curriculum resources (mathematics) for teachers that both meet Australian Curriculum objectives and incorporate Indigenous pedagogies.
More recently, I have worked with children with speech-sound production difficulties, developmental language disorder, autism, global developmental delay and children with various communication-related difficulties.
I have a special interest and skill set in supporting children with dyslexia and being creative in the way that I work to engage children and bring joy to learning.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my children, cooking, hiking, swimming, reading and travelling. If I wasn't being a speech pathologist (which is hard to imagine as I love it so much) I think I'd like being an archaeologist!
