Give Credit is a new major campaign to celebrate the exceptional people and organisations in South Australia’s community service sector.
HCO is supporting this important initiative, as seen on the TV at our Reception area, which is being delivered in partnership between SACOSS and Volunteering SA&NT.
The campaign involves building the world’s longest credit roll which will contain the names and job titles of thousands of staff and volunteers and the organisations they represent.

We are incredibly proud of everyone who represented HCO at the recent Tri-State Games. Your hard work, determination, and team spirit were on full display.

It was a wonderful afternoon at the Mount Barker District Council Chambers last Thursday, recognising the incredible volunteers from both HCO and CLA. 💙

The presentation was a heartfelt celebration of everyone involved, with inspiring speeches from the Mayor David Leach, and CLA CEO Mark. We all walked away feeling proud and grateful for the amazing Clients, their families, and the dedicated workers who support them every step of the way.

A huge shout-out to all the Community Access Clients, workers, and families who joined in this special moment — your enthusiasm and commitment truly shine!

And an extra big thank you to the workers who support the environmental volunteers each week. Through your encouragement, guidance, and example, the Clients have the opportunity to give back to the community in such meaningful ways.

🎨 Celebrating creativity at the DAL Expo!

We’re so proud of our Community Access clients who received Art of Expression awards at this year’s DAL Expo.
A big congratulations to Natasha, who won a prize for her beautiful individual artwork, and to the HCO group, whose collaborative piece also took home a prize.
Over the two days of the expo, visitors admired the incredible art created by our talented clients, with several pieces proudly on display.
The Art of Expression team also took the time to personally congratulate our Day Options program for their hard work and amazing creativity.

Exciting Funding Opportunity for Inclusive Projects in SA!
The Julia Farr Disability Inclusion Grants have officially launched — a fantastic initiative supporting innovative, community-led projects that promote inclusion for South Australians with disability.
Delivered by the Department of Human Services, this program offers two tiers of funding:
🔹 Up to $20,000 for 12-month projects
🔹 Up to $100,000 for 24-month projects
They're looking for creative, community-driven ideas that improve accessibility and inclusion — especially those focused on building inclusive environments and communities.
Join the free online session on Tuesday 14 October 2025 at 2pm to learn more about eligibility, key themes, and how to apply.
