Mount Barker parkrun

Mount Barker parkrun A free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning at 8am at the Homemaker Centre. Everyone is welcome to walk, run or volunteer.

Mount Barker parkrun is a FREE weekly timed 5km event for runners of all standards, which takes place every Saturday at 8am from the Mount Barker Homemaker Centre, approximately 33km east of Adelaide's CBD. parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5k timed run and it can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. It offers an opportunity for all the local community, male or female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to enjoy the beautiful surrounds and get physically active at the same time. We want to encourage people to jog or
run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE!

Tomorrow Paul Pamment will be celebrating his 25 volunteer milestone.

“A few weeks ago Paul celebrated his 100th parkrun, today he celebrates 25 volunteer gigs. Paul completed his first parkrun in April 2023. Along with partner Terri and neighbours Marg and Ann, Paul is at Mount Barker parkrun most Saturdays. Tomorrow he will be park walker with Ann”.

Do you have a volunteering or participation milestone coming up this weekend? If so send some photos and a brief description through and we'll put them up here and give you a shout out on Saturday Morning.

We also realise it can be a long way between milestones so if you are celebrating an amazing achievement (big number that isn't an official milestone) let us know and we can mention it on Saturday.

You can send it through to mountbarker@parkrun.com and we'll do the rest.
