Flu season is just around the corner, and we’re here to help keep our community well.

Private flu vaccinations are now available at GPcare, with Government-funded vaccines expected to arrive after Easter.

If you’d like to get protected early, our team is ready to support you. Appointments are quick and easy to book - just give us a call on 1300 472 273.

For patients not eligible for a Government-funded vaccine, the consultation will be bulk billed, with an out-of-pocket cost of $15 for the vaccine.

Looking after your health helps protect those around you too - especially our most vulnerable.

We’re delighted to welcome Dr Kyle Fairclough to the GPcare team at Summit Health.

Kyle is a rural GP who joins us from Kangaroo Island, where he has worked closely with tight-knit communities. He now brings that same community-focused approach to caring for patients across the Adelaide Hills.

Kyle has special interests in emergency medicine, chronic disease management, and psychiatry. He’s passionate about rural medicine, values continuity of care, and enjoys being part of the communities he serves. With a strong interest in health and fitness, Kyle also enjoys supporting patients to make positive, sustainable changes to their overall wellbeing.

We are pleased to welcome Dr Mohammed Hamed, to the GPcare team!

Dr Mohammed Hamed is an experienced GP who graduated in 2012 and completed his specialist training and a Master’s degree in General Practice and Family Medicine in Egypt before moving to Australia. He has worked in rural and regional Victoria and is now settling in the Adelaide Hills with his young family. He is AMC qualified and is currently finalising his RACGP Fellowship.

Dr Hamed’s clinical interests include Geriatric Medicine, Chronic Disease Management, Skin Cancer Medicine, and Men’s Health. He also enjoys caring for children and providing women’s and family health services. He holds a Diploma of Skin Cancer Medicine, is currently undertaking a Diploma in Geriatric Medicine, and has advanced training in chronic disease care, minor skin procedures, Implanon insertions and removals, and mental health care. He is also passionate about medical education and enjoys teaching and mentoring future doctors.
