The Year of the Horse doesn’t officially arrive until February 17, yet its energy is already calling - inviting freedom, forward movement and a return to instinctual wisdom rather than constant striving. It encourages us to move with intention, honor our natural rhythms and reconnect with presence, community and the land.

Our retreat embodies this energy: spending time with our therapy horses, moving through yoga, finding stillness in sunrise and sunset meditations, immersing in sound healing, exploring creative expression, practicing breathwork, reflecting fireside and enjoying space and time to regulate, reset and step into the year with clarity and vitality.

Caroline Tremaine - Sound Healer, Somatic Reset Therapist and one of my dearest friends of 40+ years dropped by yesterday to explore the spaces where she’ll soon be singing, playing and weaving her magic through our Sacred Soil. Sacred Soul. Women’s Glamping Retreat (23–26 January).

Caroline and I have shared a lifetime of learning, living, growing and questioning what it truly means to live well and live kindly. She is a beautiful soul who sees the good in everyone and everything.

Based in Byron Bay, Caroline’s voice has a celestial quality that lingers long after the final note. Luminous, playful and quietly powerful - and wherever she goes, she brings light. I couldn’t be happier to have her co-facilitating this retreat.

Together, with four incredible local facilitators, we’re creating something truly special: nourishing meals, nature, glamping under the stars and full access to our home, yoga studio and wellbeing rooms.

Enjoy guided group sessions balanced with plenty of free time to rest, roam and soak up our 32-acre property on Thompsons Creek, Wadawurrung Country, Surf Coast.

Yoga Farm is still a place to take a pause over the holidays.

As the year winds down, we’re moving into a cut-down schedule until February 2nd, with 6pm classes continuing on Mondays & Tuesdays - a quiet anchor at a time when life can feel full, fast and noisy.

Yin Yoga is a sanctuary through the festive season - melting away accumulated tension and soothing a stressed-out nervous system to create space for deep rest.

Long supported holds encourage the body to soften, the breath to slow and the mind to settle.

Digestion is supported, sleep becomes more easeful and a sense of spacious calm can return.

Step out of the rush. Sink into stillness. Let yourself be nourished.

Every now and then it stops me in my tracks - this beautiful, peaceful space was once our family home, filled with laughter, chaos and love.

We watched the kids learn and grow and run free here - mornings at the kitchen bench with laughter filling the rooms… and the mess, oh the mess…….

Now this space holds the community - a place to heal, learn & grow.

From its humble beginnings of just a couple of yoga classes a week, Yoga Farm has grown into a home for yoga, meditation, osteopathy, somatic experiencing, psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, naturopathy, sound healing & a herd of equine therapy horses - all working together to support healing, learning and growth.

We are so deeply grateful for all this little farmhouse has gifted us. These walls hold so much love.
