It is such a privilege for our staff and volunteers to walk alongside these amazing ladies.
Choosig recovery is brave, it requires sacrifice, and a deep commitment to want change.

Thread Together’s second stop yesterday was to Restoration House.
The fellas were incredibly thankful for their new threads.

Thank you to Thread Together for paying us a visit to both House of Hope and to Restoration House today.
Receiving some new clothing is such a gift for those in recovery.
For some they arrive on our door with very litttle.
For others it’s feeling worthy of a community who believe in them again.

In our resilience class we have been reflecting on the past as well as looking at the Future. The ladies have been creating an addiction tree, identifying where it all began and what consequences and challenges they have faced since using substances. As part of this the ladies also had to look at the positives of recovery and what it means to them.
These tasks have been insightful and opened discussions about struggles and triumphs.
