Sam gets married next weekend and our ladies catered a small bridal shower luncheon.

“Resilience,” is one word that came up tonight more than once as we celebrated Laura’s Graduation from the House of Hope.
It is such a privilege for our staff and volunteers to walk alongside these amazing ladies.
Choosig recovery is brave, it requires sacrifice, and a deep commitment to want change.

The last two days some of our staff took the opportunity to attend DV-alert (domestic violence) training delivered by Lifeline
The course is designed for health, allied health and community frontline workers and focuses on, recognising and responding appropriately to domestic and family violence.

Thread Together’s second stop yesterday was to Restoration House.
The fellas were incredibly thankful for their new threads.

Thank you to Thread Together for paying us a visit to both House of Hope and to Restoration House today.
Receiving some new clothing is such a gift for those in recovery.
For some they arrive on our door with very litttle.
For others it’s feeling worthy of a community who believe in them again.
