Your breath is one of the simplest ways to reset your energy and calm your nervous system.

When you’re stressed, your breath becomes shallow - your body moves into survival mode. But when you slow your breathing down, your body receives the message that it’s safe again.

Try this next time you feel overwhelmed:
🌿 Breathe in slowly through your nose for 4 counts.
🌿 Hold for 2 counts.
🌿 Exhale gently through your mouth for 6 counts.

A few deep breaths can bring you back into balance and clarity. Sometimes healing starts with something as simple as remembering to breathe. 💛

When life feels busy or your mind is racing, grounding brings you back into your body- back to the present moment.

One of my favourite ways to ground is walking barefoot on the grass - it’s quick, easy, and instantly calming.

When I can’t get outside, I imagine tree roots growing from the soles of my feet, reaching deep into the earth, wrapping around the earth’s vibrant red core, and drawing that energy back up into my body.
The more grounded you feel, the calmer and clearer your energy becomes.

ESR stands for Emotional Stress Release - and it’s one of my favourite ways to help the body and mind slow down.

It’s as simple as gently holding the points on your forehead above your eyebrows, taking slow breaths, and letting your body release emotional tension.

I often use ESR during talk therapy, or with kids when they’re feeling upset - just holding those points helps them come back into their body, clear the emotional stress, and feel safe again.

It’s a beautiful reminder that slowing down and connecting to your breath can shift so much.
