🏉 Double Header Weekend with Vic Metro Girls 💙

What a weekend! I had the privilege of supporting both the U17 and U18 Vic Metro girls as team physio in back-to-back games against Vic Country.

📍 Saturday at Avalon Airport Oval, Werribee: U17s hit the field with great intensity and showed incredible resilience and came away with the win.
📍 Sunday at RSEA Park for the U18 National Championships: Our U18s were outstanding, coming away with a strong win! 💪

So proud to be part and that’s a season’s wrap. Now to look forward to the combine and draft at the end of the year.

AFL U18 Girls National Champions! 🏆
What an incredible weekend in Brisbane with the Vic Metro Girls U18s at the National Championships at Brighton Homes Arena!

As team physio, I had the privilege of supporting this amazing group of athletes as they took on the Allies and came away with the win in a nail-biting finish (final score 50–48!). 💙

From locker room prep to pitch-side care, recovery sessions and everything in between, it’s always an honour to travel with such a talented and dedicated group. Huge congratulations to the players, coaches, and support staff on a fantastic result!

Over the weekend I had the pleasure of travelling to Perth as team physio for the Victoria Metro Academy at the AFLW U18 National Championships 🏉✈️

From game day prep and sideline support to post match recovery on Fremantle Beach, it was a jam packed and rewarding few days working with this talented group of athletes.

📸 Highlights included:
✅ A hard-fought match against WA (final score: 28–24)
✅ Post-game beach recovery
✅ Visiting the Fremantle Dockers and connecting with AFLW drafted 2024 VicMetro girls
✅ Plenty of taping, rehab, and physio chats along the way!

Easter Sunday looked a little different this year – I spent the day on the sidelines at RSEA Park as the physio for the AFLW All Stars team in their clash against the AFLW Academy. It was a great opportunity to support some of the country’s most exciting young talent in women’s footy!

Huge thanks to the amazing crew I worked alongside, such a great team effort on and off the field.

Always grateful to be part of events like these and to contribute to the performance and wellbeing of these incredible athletes.
