💪 Let’s talk deadlifts…
Deadlifts are one of the best exercises for women in menopause because they build muscle, protect bone density, support metabolism, and strengthen the posterior chain (glutes, hamstrings and back) all areas that naturally weaken as oestrogen declines. They also improve posture and functional strength for everyday tasks like lifting groceries or grandchildren. Many women feel afraid of deadlifts because they’ve been told they’re “bad for your back,” look intimidating, or worry about getting bulky. In reality, when taught with good technique and appropriate weight, deadlifts are safe, empowering, and one of the most effective tools for staying strong and confident through midlife.
