30/12/2025
I promised to share these 2026 Year Ahead Readings tomorrow, but spirit had other plans, so I’m offering them one day early. My intention is for you to read these messages before the clock strikes midnight, so you can step into New Year’s Day already carrying clarity, guidance, and quiet confidence in what lies ahead.
These readings are designed to be taken in slowly—to be felt, not rushed—so that when the new year arrives, you’re not walking in blind, but consciously choosing your path forward.
As we say goodbye to what has been and welcome what is becoming, may 2026 meet you with momentum, meaning, and magic. May your steps be guided, your choices aligned, and your heart open to the unfolding journey ahead.
Happy New Year Everyone
I look forward to reading for you in 2026.
With reading one we have the Knight of Wands, the Queen of Pentacles, the King of Wands, and The Chariot.
The first quarter of the year—January, February, and March—is influenced by the Knight of Wands, an energy full of enthusiasm, action, and passion. This card signals a powerful surge of motivation and momentum as 2026 begins.
Like many of us, 2025 was a year marked by disappointments and setbacks. Every time you thought you were making progress, something seemed to pull you backwards. You have been ready to end the old year and step into the new one for quite some time now. This isn’t a sudden “new year, new you” moment—rather, I can see that you’ve been quietly putting things in place for a while. You’ve been building new structures, cultivating discipline, and developing a fierce focus on what you truly want to achieve.
As I look at the Knight of Wands, I’m being drawn to the final card, The Chariot, which amplifies the theme of movement and forward drive. Together, these cards suggest a bold—perhaps even impulsive—start to a new project, journey, or phase of life. This is the moment where energy shifts from preparation into action.
The second quarter—April, May, and June—is influenced by the Queen of Pentacles, and this is a welcome and necessary energy. She brings balance, grounding, and stability, especially as she sits between two fiery Wands cards that can sometimes be overly passionate or gung-ho.
For many of you, around the same time last year, it may have felt like everything was finally coming together. You may have tried to rush things along in order to achieve a desired outcome—only for the wheels to fall off. The Queen of Pentacles steps in here to ensure that doesn’t happen again. She keeps you grounded, practical, and resourceful. During this period, you’ll approach your goals with patience and care, ensuring that any forward movement is sustainable and controlled. This steady approach leads to outcomes that are not just successful, but lasting.
As the third quarter arrives—July, August, and September—I’m sensing a noticeable shift into maturity and seriousness. For the first time in a long while, you will begin to see all of your hard work coming together. The King of Wands, positioned next to The Chariot, shows a return of confidence and control. You’ll start to feel firmly back in the driver’s seat of your life.
While the year may have begun with raw enthusiasm, by this point you’ll sense that things are unfolding even better than you hoped. There is a strong “now or never” energy here. You take an authoritative stance, channelling your passion and vision into long-term, meaningful goals you’ve been trying to manifest for the past few years. For the first time in a long time, you are out in front—and you can clearly see the finish line ahead.
The final quarter—October, November, and December—brings the year to a powerful close. Yes, the last three months may feel long at times, but The Chariot shows that you have been moving steadily forward all year, maintaining control over your direction and circumstances. You have demonstrated discipline, focus, and unwavering determination.
The end of 2026 is marked by victory. There is triumph in your chosen direction, earned through willpower, perseverance, and self-mastery. This is a year where effort pays off—and you should be proud of how far you’ve come. Congratulations.
With reading two, we have the Seven of Swords, The Hierophant, Justice, and the Two of Pentacles.
The first quarter—January, February, and March—is influenced by the Seven of Swords. What’s coming through strongly here is that 2025 didn’t quite go according to plan. Rather than fully reviewing what went wrong or reflecting on what could be done differently, there is a strong desire to fast-track progress this year. An underlying sense of impatience suggests you want to get ahead of a situation before it has a chance to repeat itself.
In the past, you may have done everything “by the book,” exactly as you believed it should have been done, only for things to fall apart anyway. This may have left you feeling cheated, taken advantage of, or ripped off. As a result, this early approach feels unorthodox and not entirely like you at all. The phrase I keep hearing is, “If at first you don’t succeed, then cheat.”
This quarter carries a sense of avoidance and sneakiness here, where you may be tempted to cut corners, sidestep responsibilities, or take shortcuts in hopes of achieving faster results. While this energy comes more from frustration than malicious intent, it does suggest a misalignment between your values and your actions early in the year.
The second quarter—April, May, and June—is influenced by The Hierophant. After realizing that the first quarter’s approach isn’t producing the desired results, you begin to shift gears. You recognize the need to use your intellect more strategically and be more thoughtful rather than acting impulsively or reactively. This is where you start to come back to yourself.
You’ll realize that being your authentic self and doing things the right way ultimately serves you better. Returning to a solid ethical framework gives you peace of mind and allows you to think more clearly. This quarter is very much about back to basics. Your mindset shifts from “If at first you don’t succeed, then cheat” to “If at first you don’t succeed, then try, try again.”
Structure, tradition, and integrity become your anchors once more.
The third quarter—July, August, and September—is influenced by the Justice card. This energy reinforces an important truth: all actions have consequences, and accountability is essential. Even if you briefly experimented with shortcuts or avoidant behaviours earlier in the year, you’ll fully understand now that everything eventually comes into balance.
Justice makes it clear that any deceitful or unethical behaviour – toward yourself or unto others - will be brought to light and addressed. This is not about punishment, but about correction and fairness. As they say, this is karma at work, reinforcing responsibility, equilibrium and integrity.
The final quarter—October, November, and December—is influenced by the Two of Pentacles, and the outcome of the year centres on balance and adaptability. You come to understand that anything worth having cannot be rushed and is often worth waiting for. This year ultimately teaches you how to prioritize—deciding what truly matters and allocating your focus wisely.
You’ll discover creative ways to manage your responsibilities, time, and energy more efficiently. What began as a hurried and unorthodox start transforms into a more balanced, thoughtful, and rewarding conclusion to the year.
With reading 3 we have The Sun, the 8 of Pentacles, Death and The Lovers.
The first quarter—January, February, and March—is being influenced by The Sun.
Wow, you don’t get a more positive card than the Sun card.
What a wonderful way to begin the year.
I keep saying it, but I continue to feel that everyone just wants to put 2025 behind them.
I am feeling a great deal of joy, optimism and excitement here, like you already know 2026 is going to be a big year of positive change. You feel ready to plant new seeds and embrace what’s ahead. As I am drawn to the final card, The Lovers, it becomes clear that you will be beginning to fall in love with life again.
Jumping slightly ahead in this reading – as the cards work together so clearly and I write as I channel - The Sun represents growth and new beginnings, The Lovers represents choice, the 8 of Pentacles speaks to dedication and hard work, and Death signals the ending of the old to make way for the new. Together, they show a profound and positive transformation – whether personal or in your relationships – brought about through commitment and consistent effort.
There is an important life choice ahead which is leading to a significant joyful change. It will require discipline, focus and perseverance.
You definitely start the year off with a lot of clarity and optimism. There’s a sense of relief and overwhelming positivity here, as though the path forward finally feels clear and the outcome feels promising.
The second quarter—April, May, and June—is influenced by the Eight of Pentacles, signalling a shift from optimism into action. You’re no longer willing to sit back and wait for life to come to you. Instead, you are ready to commit fully and make things happen through focused effort, patience and diligence. This card shows a clear understanding that success doesn’t arrive by accident, but as a direct result of the action you take. During this period, you are prepared to put in the work, refine your skills, and build something meaningful and lasting. This quarter is about consistency and showing up for your goals, even when progress feels slow.
The third quarter—July, August, and September—is influenced by Death, and by this point, a noticeable energetic shift takes place. You become fully aware that the lingering weight of 2025 is finally lifting and that the new year has truly arrived. You will be going through a major transformation. It is about endings and beginnings – releasing outdated situations and mindsets that no longer serve you in order to step into a new positive phase of life. While this change may feel intense, it is both necessary and deeply liberating as it is more aligned with you.
The final quarter—October, November, and December—is influenced by The Lovers, bringing the year to a meaningful and fulfilling close. The Lovers is the card of choice and it shows that you are reflecting on the decisions you’ve made throughout the year, particularly those that were made with intention and integrity. You will be able to recognize the positive choices and consistent effort you invested and how they have led to greater joy, happiness and success. Your year will end with a strong sense of connection, fulfillment and emotional reward.
They say ‘what you reap is what you sow’ and you will start the year off on the right foot and continue to put in the hard work to make the year ahead a success. The entire journey revolves around pivotal decisions – choices that shape your future and align you more deeply with who you truly are.
