Lions Skin Cancer Screening Unit to return to Mt Gambier for an unprecedented 3rd year in a row.

Due to the amazing response in the last 2 years, the combined Mt Gambier Lions Clubs - Lions Club of Blue Lake City Lioness, Lions Club of Gambier City and Lions Club of Mount Gambier, will be working together to sponsor and support the return of this life saving Skin Cancer Screening Unit.

This service is provided FREE to those who attend. A dontation would be appreciated to help to keep the unit running.

Put March 10 on your Calendar now to ensure you remember to ring for an appointment.

Do you meet any 2 of these criteria?
1. Have you previously had a skin cancer removed?
2. Has any blood relative had Melanoma
3. Does or did your main employment take place outside?
4. Have you noticed something new, or something changing?
5. Have you spent time using a UV tanning bed?

You need to be 18 years of age
If you are currently under the care of a specialist or GP, we do not provide a second opinion or diagnosis. Please see your current care team.

Today we pay tribute to our Founder, Patron and inaugural Chair, Dr Sue Charlton AM, as we gather with her family, friends and community to honour her life.
Sue’s leadership, vision and compassion shaped Stand Like Stone and strengthened the Limestone Coast for more than two decades. Her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched and in the community and foundation she helped to build.
For those wishing to honour Sue’s memory, the Sue Charlton AM Memorial Fund has been established to support healthy hip development in babies born in or connected to the Limestone Coast.
