π National Eating Disorders Awareness Week 2026 π
This week (Monday 23 February β Sunday 1 March) is National Eating Disorders Awareness Week (NEDAW) a time to raise awareness, reduce stigma, and support those impacted by eating disorders.
Eating disorders are serious mental health conditions that can affect people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds. They are not a choice, and recovery is possible with the right support and care.
Awareness weeks like this remind us how important compassion, understanding, and early help can be. If you or someone you care about is struggling with food, body image, or eating habits, you are not alone support is available.
At Mount Hutton Medical family Practice, we encourage open conversations about both physical and mental health. Reaching out for help is a strong and important first step.
π¬ Letβs continue to support one another, share knowledge, and create a community where everyone feels seen and understood.
