Happy New Year and Καλή Χρονιά 🎉

New Year’s Day can bring a sense of possibility, a need for rest, or simply a moment to reset after a full year. However you’re arriving in 2026, I hope you find space to ease in gently. SavvyPsych will reopen on 16 January 2026 and our books are open for people of all ages seeking assessment or clinical supervision.

Assessments
• Neurodivergence (Autism, ADHD)
• Learning (reading/writing/math challenges; .e.g., dyslexia as well as advanced ability)
• Early development, school readiness and transition planning (18 months – 4 years)

If today feels difficult or unsettled, please reach out to support services that are open over the holiday period - you are not alone:
• Lifeline – 13 11 14
• Kids Helpline – 1800 55 1800
• Beyond Blue – 1300 22 4636
• Parentline (VIC) – 13 22 89

I’m including Greek New Year wishes this year not just as a celebration of my heritage, but as a reminder of the multilingual and multicultural communities many of us belong to, and the richness that brings to our identities and our stories.

Χρόνια Πολλά 🥳 May 2026 bring clarity, connection, and moments of genuine fun. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon! 💫

Merry Christmas & Καλά Χριστούγεννα from SavvyPsych ✨🎄

I’m including Greek 🇬🇷 greetings today as a small way of honouring my cultural background and sharing a little of my culture with our diverse community.

I want to extend a heartfelt thank-you to every child, young person, adult, family, clinician and team who has trusted me this year. Supporting you to better understand your clients, yourselves, or your loved ones, and helping identify the supports that allow you to be the best you can be, continues to be an absolute privilege.

Today can be a day of connection and celebration for some, and for others it can bring stress, grief, sensory overwhelm, or complicated family moments. However this day lands for you, please know you’re not alone, and it’s okay if it doesn’t feel “festive” or "merry".

If today is difficult or you need support, these services are available:

• Lifeline – 13 11 14
• Kids Helpline – 1800 55 1800
• Beyond Blue – 1300 22 4636
• Parentline (VIC) – 13 22 89
• MensLine – 1300 78 99 78

Whether you’re celebrating, resting, or simply getting through the day, I’m wishing you warmth, safety, and moments of ease. Thank you again for allowing SavvyPsych to be part of your journey this year.

Happy Holidays - Καλές Διακοπές! Whether you’re celebrating Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, something beautifully unique to your family, or simply enjoying the art of doing absolutely nothing, may this season bring you at least a few moments of joy, rest, and connection.

This time of year can be magical for some… and messy, noisy, overwhelming, or complicated for others. If your holidays look more “real life” than “Netflix Christmas movie” you’re in very good company, and know your experience is completely valid. Support is always available if things feel heavy:
• Lifeline – 13 11 14
• Kids Helpline – 1800 55 1800
• Beyond Blue – 1300 22 4636
• Parentline (VIC) – 13 22 89
• Su***de Call Back Service – 1300 659 467

SavvyPsych is officially switching to holiday mode from 22 December and will reopen on 16 January 2026. This year I’m including Greek holiday greetings as a small way of honouring my own multicultural background and celebrating the diversity, languages, and identities that shape the families, communities, and individuals I support.

Thank you to everyone who entrusted me with their journeys this year. From big developmental and identity questions to little everyday wins, it’s been an honour to walk alongside you.

Wishing you Καλές Γιορτές, gentle moments, great food, and just enough sparkle to end the year your way 🌟

Happy Easter & Καλό Πάσχα from SavvyPsych!
Greek Easter and Mainstream Easter fall on the same day this year — a special event that reminds us how beautiful it is when different traditions come together.

At SavvyPsych, we’re all about embracing bilingual and bicultural identities — because understanding where we come from helps us thrive in who we are.

The beautiful artwork in this post was created by a wonderful little person named Charlotte. She gifted this to — and it truly brightened her day. We hope it brings the same spark of joy to you too!

Whether you’re cracking red eggs or sharing chocolate ones, we wish you a joyful day filled with meaning, connection, and celebration!

Every year we support alongside industry, workplaces, communities and schools from more than 180 countries to raise awareness about online safety and digital wellbeing. Here are a few tips to protect your mental health online:
📵 Set Boundaries: Limit screen time and take regular breaks.
🤔 Be Mindful: Think before you post or share personal information.
ℹ️ Stay Informed: Educate yourself about online privacy and security.
🗣️ Speak up: Report online abuse and harmful content. Young people: tell a trusted adult 💪🏻
