Some time back I treated a client for suspected tennis elbow.
On the 2nd treatment my assessments took me to an area of tissue just above the affected elbow near the bicep muscle.
The tense area was part of a full sleeve tattoo directly under a darker section of an animal’s nose. The affected area was about the size of a pea.
I treated the area with scar tissue release (MSTR).
She experienced strong responses (tingling and warmth) in her arm and affected elbow for over 10 minutes afterwards, after which most of the pain had dissipated. I decided to do no more for this treatment.
Some months later I am told that her elbow has been free of the severe pain since then.
Scar tissue comes in many shapes, sizes and forms. Burns, old muscle tears or injuries, cuts, scratches, surgeries and any pe*******on of the skin can cause scar tissue.
Not that all scars are troublesome or problematic.
But they can play a role in pain or musculoskeletal dysfunction at some point, even many years later as the body grows and changes shape, causing tensions on adhered tissue to change and perhaps refer pain to other areas.
MSTR is a valuable tool that I often incorporate into my treatments where appropriate. 😊
