There’s a bird in Australia that has a pretty beautiful life.

The bowerbird never has to worry about where its next meal is coming from. Food is plentiful. And because of that it has time to create. It builds these fantastic structures in nature, intricately woven, with striking pops of colour.

That’s where our name begins.

A bower, a place of shelter and beauty. Somewhere shaded by trees, where you can go slow, be fed well and feel genuinely held.

We believe everyone deserves a bower of their own. A space, and people, that look after you.

We know you have at least one group chat where someone regularly says, “we really should go away together this year.” Everyone is keen, but it never quite gets off the ground.
We’ve made it our business to fix that.

Private group camps at Bower Camp Co. are entirely tailored to your people and your reason, whether that’s a milestone birthday, a bookclub getaway or a yoga class looking to retreat to the rainforest.

Mums are you ready for a stunning beachside escape where you don’t have to do a thing?

Away from screens, away from busyness, and deep into wild and beautiful nature.

You and your child get to connect in this gorgeous place without distraction.

Jenny came on our Mums and Kids Camp last year in Girraween National Park. These April school holidays we are heading to Lake Arragan campground in Yuraygir National Park.

The campsite is situated next to both a lake and the beach on a stretch of untouched coastline in Northern NSW. It is visited by an abundance of kangaroos and birdlife.

There will be walks and swims, bushcraft and art, and plenty of time for just hanging out on the beach.

All tents are set up with really comfortable beds, with real mattresses and soft sheets, tables and chairs.
There is a large covered group area with art supplies, books and games.

We take care of all the setup and packdown, the cooking, the logistics, and we send you a packing list so you don’t have to think of a thing.

All meals are designed with both adult and child tastes in mind.

Who is it for?
Mums bringing one or two children aged 6-12.

Groups are kept small to support connection and relaxation.

📅 Dates: 10-13 April 2026

📍 Location: Lake Arragan Campground, Yuraygir National Park, NSW (🚗 Around 3 hours’ drive from Brisbane, 2.5 Hours from Gold Coast, 1.5 hours from Byron Bay)
