Holiday comfort food at its best. Nothing beats bangers and mash, especially when it’s this clean.

We’re plating up Bello Beef English Sausages (organic, grass-fed, and preservative-free) with a sticky Festive Tomato Relish that cuts right through the rich, creamy mash. It’s cozy, hearty, and completely gluten-free.

The holidays bring joy, but they can also feel like a lot.
If your gut feels unsettled or your anxiety feels louder, you’re not alone.

This is your reminder to slow down, eat in a way that supports you, and give your body a little extra care.

Save this for the days you need a pause, and share it with someone who might need the reminder too.

It’s December 25, and you actually feel good. No food coma, no bloat, just holiday joy.

We wait all year for the Christmas feast, so I am NOT here to tell you to skip the stuffing or pass on the pie. Life is too short for food guilt.

But, if you want to enjoy the feast without unbuttoning your jeans by 4 PM, here is the gut-health strategy:

1️⃣ The "Bitter" Before the Sweet: Start your morning with warm lemon water or a splash of apple cider vinegar. It primes your stomach acid for the heavy food to come.

2️⃣ Eat some meat and saturated fats - cheese, butter etc to stabilise your blood sugar, include the green beans or salad for fibre also. The fiber feeds your microbiome and ensures good digestion. Make sure your sweet treat is served with some cream or custard (to avoid the subsequent crash.)

3️⃣ The 1:1 Rule: For every glass of wine or Christmas punch, drink one full glass of water. Your microbiome hates dehydration!

4️⃣ The 10-Minute Walk: Instead of napping immediately after lunch, grab a cousin and go for a 10-minute stroll. It moves glucose into your muscles and speeds up digestion significantly.

That moment when the ham hits the table and this goes on top.
Sweet, tangy tomato relish, slow-cooked and spooned generously.
It cuts through the richness, wakes everything up, and somehow tastes like Christmas itself.

If you’re serving ham this year, don’t skip the relish. It’s the quiet hero.

Save this for Christmas Day! Grab the recipe for FREE via the link below.

Processed foods: tasty but sneaky health saboteurs! High in added sugars, trans fats & refined carbs, they spike blood sugar, pack on weight & lack vital nutrients/fiber. Swap for whole foods like fruits, veggies & grass fed meats to fuel your body right. Your future self thanks you!

The nutrients in your food start with the soil it comes from. Bello’s beef mince was found to contain twice the zinc and 15 times more iron than typical mince, along with higher amino acids.

Their cattle eat only chemical-free grass, aren’t given vaccines, and are processed in their own facility. It’s careful, start-to-finish farming, and it shows in the quality.

See what careful, chemical-free farming can do. Order Bello beef or start to ask questions of the people growing your food.

Your mental health is not only in your head. It starts in your gut. When your gut is irritated or out of balance, your mind feels it. That tight stomach when you are anxious is your gut brain axis at work.

Support both by choosing whole foods, adding fermented options, staying hydrated, protecting your sleep, and moving your body each day. Small habits build calmer days and clearer thinking.
