Potluck Dinner is tonight! We welcome you to join us to share in great company, conversation and the warmth of our safe space. Potluck dinner happens on the first Wednesday of every month - remember to pop it in your calendar.

We love that our potluck dinners are an opportunity to connect in a calm and comfortable environment, to find out more about each other and share our passions and interests while our tools are tucked away for a relaxing evening of community connection.

Space Makers workshop is on every Friday.
It's a workshop where we collaboratively build a range of projects for our workshop space. We will work together, learning about design, context, installation, renovation and retro-fitting

⭐️ Please note, to participate in Space Makers you need to have completed the Upskill intro workshop, it runs every Saturday and Upskill is a one-off that gives you access to our other workshops, like Space Makers :)

APRIL: Kicks off in next week! This 4 day workshop will take place on Thursday 2nd, 9th, 16th & 23rd, from 8.30am-4.30pm.

G’day Shedders, here’s a little update from Sophie on what’s happening at the Shed.

🛠️ Empower kicks off this weekend, we are fully booked and very excited to host our first crew for the year! Keen to join? We are hosting 1 per month for the rest of the year. Find all the upcoming dates and book in on our website.

💕 CCR training begins in 10 days! If you have communicated your interest, please ensure you have filled out the form on Plan C (www.plane.org.au/ccr-apply) to confirm your spot. Send us a message if you’re needing assistance.

Hey crew! We are super passionate about localisation and putting our network of exchange into action. We love supporting and being supported by local companies and humans, and we’d love to share them with you!

Our dear friends Pete and Deb in Stokers Siding love their bees and so generously share their harvests with us.

The wonderful family out in Casino - Slater Farms - provide the incredible biodynamic rice that Shedding offers at our Potluck lunches and dinners.

Our Shed is kept clean by the eco friendly cleaning company who create and operate from Lismore.

We consciously choose to work with these companies as they align with our desire to be kind to our planet, and each other, and we believe that localising our purchases is the way forward.

If you are keen to know more, please reach out with any curiosities, and if you have digital kitchen scales, we would gladly appreciate your donation.

This Saturday at Repair Cafe, we will be offering Knife Sharpening. We have some passionate volunteers who are trained in our amazing Tormek sharpener - big thanks to !

To bring:
🔪 Blunt, flat edged knives
🛠️ Donation ($10-$20 suggested depending on level of bluntness)

Send us a text if you’re keen to come along and how many knives you’d like sharpen, so we can get an idea of numbers.

We will continue to offer this on the 1st Saturday of every month from 1:30pm-4:30pm.

Hey crew! Shedding is hosting CCR (Community Carers and Responders) to come and facilitate an empowering 5 day training held over 5 Sundays. This is an incredible opportunity for us to create a crew of equipped responders, ready to confidently meet whatever life throws at us. Plan C is an amazing group of people doing really impactful things and their approach and values align with ours here at Shedding Community Workshop.
