Biography: Iris Dolphin
Since completing her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Notre Dame University in 2012, Iris has worked in WA Country Health in a generalist role which has allowed her to gain experience in a range of fields: including, but not limited to, paediatrics, gross motor development, fall prevention, stroke rehabilitation, musculoskeletal injuries and, most recently, Women’s Health. Currently, Iris is working on developing her skills in the Women’s & Men’s pelvic health field. Additionally, Iris has a particular clinical interest in providing support during the antenatal period of expecting mothers and also assisting with postnatal recovery.
A Hills local her whole life, Iris now lives in Stoneville with her husband, two daughters, two dogs, and some chickens on a beautiful 5-acre block. When Iris isn’t gardening or painting, you can find her running, riding, or hiking the local trails with her family in the hopes of instilling a love of the outdoors in her children.
Due to her love of yoga and pilates, Iris has joined the Perth Hills Physiotherapy team to provide Clinical Mat-Based Exercise classes on Mondays and Fridays. Although these classes are run in a group environment, Iris aims to tailor the classes to meet your individual needs.
Classes start up again this Friday (14/10) at 12:45pm. Please give us a call if you’re interested in participating.
