We often think melanoma only shows up on skin that’s seen too much sun, but it can appear even in places the sun never touches.
It begins when damaged genes allow abnormal cells to grow and spread. UV rays can cause this, but other factors can too.
Your best defence? Know your skin, check it often, and get anything new or unusual looked at early. 💛
