Alpine Health’s Urgent Care Centres operate 24/7 at Myrtleford, Bright and Mount Beauty — but they are not the same as Emergency Departments.

👩‍⚕️ When you arrive, a Registered Nurse will assess your condition and decide the best care for you. This may include:
• Care from a nurse
• A doctor via video consultation (VVED)
• A local GP attending from their private practice
• Transfer to an Emergency Department if needed

ℹ️ Good to know: Urgent Care Centres do not have doctors on site like Emergency Departments. If a local GP attends, their private practice will send you an invoice.

TOOLS FOR RESILIENCE – MENTAL HEALTH WORKSHOP

Wellways invites community members to a free workshop focused on strengthening personal and neighbourhood resilience.
This session will explore practical skills for coping, communicating effectively, and building a more connected and supportive community.

Spring is here — and so is hay fever season! 🤧

As the flowers bloom across the Alpine region, so do the sneezes, sniffles and itchy eyes that come with hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis).

Common symptoms:
🌸 Sneezing and a runny or blocked nose
