Hay cutting time

Being able to produce our own hay is one of the ways we can keep offering therapy to the adelaide hills. Hay prices are continuing to rise. We have 11 horse whom eat 3-6 biscuits a day. There is 14 biscuits in 1 bale of hay. That is way to many to count per year.

Our families have been going though so much turmoil with changes to the NDIS over the last year.

Unfortunately more is coming.

Families are already doing it tough and trying to support their children by jumping hoops, red tape, being told their child is not 'disabled enough' to access services they desperately need.

To insinuate that autism, learning disabilities and developmental delay are not life long disabilities is wrong. Yes people with these disabilities can thrive in life but early intervention is an absolute must. Also recognising that not all people have had access and means to support in infancy and they are already at a disadvantage.

We will continue to support our community through these changes.

Such a pleasure having Channel 7 and University of South Australia come together with us to showcase what Equine Assisted Therapy could be. Thank you to our lovely family for their support. In the last 9 years we have worked hard to promote our field and to advocate for regulation. It is happening!
